Fighting for mental health treatment, Deedrea Edgar has been a public presenter to the League of Women Voters in 2018 and the Rotary Club in 2017. In 2014 Ms. Edgar was interviewed on radio about mental health law. These opportunities provide Ms. Edgar with the opportunity to get to know community members and provide perspectives to remove the stigma of mental illness and focus on helping people support health care solutions for mental health issues.
